Peggy Cyphers has had over 30 solo exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe since 1984. Cyphers received numerous awards for her work, including NEA, Elizabeth Foundation, Peter S. Reed Foundation, and Pratt Faculty Fund Awards, as well as a PS1, Artist-in-Residence Award. She is in museum and public collections including Smithsonian Institution, Seattle Art Museum, National Museum of Women in the Arts, among others. She is currently a Professor of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
