Brett De Palma was included in 1982’s Documenta 7. He exhibited with Tony Shafrazi and Fawbush galleries. De Palma was the recipient of an NEA grant and has shown nationally and internationally. In the early 90s he taught at Princeton University and then joined the NYC School of Visual Arts faculty where he taught for over 30 years. He will teach a spring, 2023 graduate seminar in painting at SUNY New Paltz. From 1992 to 2005, De Palma was also director of creative arts at VillageCare, a Manhattan AIDS day treatment program.
